In 2022, the Open House theme at Gobelins was mythology. Inspired by anciant myths from all over the world (Inca, Babylon…), we tried to write a story about nature and the moon.

The Oracles have spoken : the prophecy is clear. In 2022, the moon will go dark, freezing the world and its elements. In this chaos, Mardouk is the last hope. During his quest, he will come to life, transform himself in order to rekindle the moonlight and revive the world.

We had a lot of fun experimenting different techniques: paintings, photographs of textures from nature, milk and dyes shooting, frame by frame animation…
